Wer die Sendung und alles um Magnolia und Fixer Upper liebt, der liegt mit diesem Buch sicherlich nicht falsch. Das Buch ist so aufgebaut, dass nacheinander alle Räume eines Hauses(natürlich merkt man den amerikanischen Touch, da sind andere Räume wichtig bzw vorhanden) vorgestellt werden und je nach Stilrichtung Vorschläge gezeigt werden, die Jojo und Chip umgebaut haben. Ich mag's gern, jedoch hätte ich mir hier und da etwas mehr Text gewünscht.
Ich bin ein grosser Fan der beiden und war begeistert, dass nun endlich mal etwas in Deutschland erhältlich war.Preis Leistung sind sehr stimmig,man merkt dass 3 Jahre daran gearbeitet wurde und nicht einfach was zusammengeschludert. Sowohl Texte als vorallem für mich wichtig die Bilder sind mega. Super zum schmöckern geeignet.

Ich habe mir das Buch gekauft, da ich großer Fan von Joanna und Chip bin.Das Buch hat mich absolut überrascht, da es super wertig ist und der Aufbau als solches einfach nur gelungen ist. Die Bilder sind sehr hochwertig und meiner Meinung nach ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Das Buch kam ohne Schutzfolie (was grundsätzlich ja nicht schlecht ist) und so war der Umschlag leider leicht eingerissen. Das tut dem Buch selbst aber keinen Abbruch.Das Buch selbst hat einen hellgrauen Leineneinband mit Goldprägung. Einfach ein Schmuckstück!

I bought this book with no real intensions just to treat myself after a hard day. And wow: what a pick! Joanna really created a piece of "Informative-Art". In every single page you can see how it was handcrafted to be stunningly beautiful and beneficial.Many books of Interior Designers I have "read" before are just an overpriced picture compilation of spaces they created for hotels and millionaire homes. But, Joanna really takes you on a journey on how she thinks through and manages a project and also built her own home. The book contains honestly helpful checklists and planning tools. I highly recommend to read it, before you start any project in your home: whether you redecorate on a budget or built a Manson from scratch. Or, do it like me: Enjoy it with a nice cup of tea and dream of a house you may never have instead of being distraught by just another piece of grayish nordic crime.
Wunderschönes Buch. Hochwertig verarbeitet und sehr schön geschrieben.Es macht so Spaß es zu lesen - ein wahrer Genuss.
